Salon Policies

If you are experiencing any signs of illness, have been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing a fever, cough, or trouble breathing, please reschedule your appointment to ensure you are symptom-free on your next visit.  Arriving to your appointment displaying visible respiratory symptoms of illness even while wearing a face mask, will result in immediate cancellation of service with NO REFUND.

 

QUESTIONS WE ASK DURING YOUR CONFIRMATION PRE-SCREENING:

 Have you or a member of your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 7 days: Sore throat, cough, chills, body aches, shortness of breath, loss of smell, loss of taste, fever, temperature at or greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit?

 

To the best of your knowledge have you been in close proximity to any individual who tested positive for COVID-19?

 

Are you currently awaiting COVID-19 test results?

 

Have you traveled outside of the Baltimore area in the last 3 days by car?

 

Have you or a member of your household traveled by plane in the past 10 days?

Face masks are required for all team members to wear during services and guests have the option to wear.

​

All guests and team members will undergo mandatory symptom screenings before entering into KMP Nails.

​

Our salon will be cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected before the start, in-between every client, and at the closing of each day using only hospital grade disinfectants. 

​

Acrylic safety protection guards will be placed at most manicure tables for social distance safety.

​

Salon entry doors will be locked to limit walk-in access. Walk-in services are welcomed on.

​

Disposable pedicure liners will be used for all pedicure services.

​

All guests must properly wash hands for 20 seconds before the start of their service.

​

In order to create the most comfortable experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you avoid touching your cell phone. Emergency calls are to be answered away from nail stations. YOU WILL RISK: (1) Losing time during your appointment. (2) Natural nail oil glands not allowing product to work properly.

​

Placement of personal belongings on surfaces inside the salon will be prohibited to minimize spread of contamination. No outside food or drinks are allowed.

​

Only persons receiving services allowed in the salon at this time - no children, friends, or extra visitors.

​

5- Minute consultation will start at the beginning of your appointment. (Health, Service, Add-ons)

​

WE DO NOT work on services received by nail technicians outside of KMP Nails.

​

All acrylic and Gel must be soaked off prior to your scheduled appointment. If you want us to remove, you will need to arrive 1 hour prior to your appointment time. If you are in need of a soak off kit, please inquire about purchasing a kit from KMP Nails for the cost of $30.00.

​

Credit card deposits (partial of service) are required for ALL Clients appointments. Deposits will be deducted from your total at the end your service. This deposit is for the current appointment and will not include a reschedule of this appointment. Amex, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted. Cash gratuities are greatly appreciated and must be placed in provided envelopes.

Altering appointments on short notice prevents us from serving other guests during that time slot. We recommend guests arrive promptly to their scheduled appointment time to ensure a stress free check-in process.  There will be a 15-minute grace period before your appointment. If you are running late, we will try our best to service your nails in the remaining time left for your appointment. We will only service what was scheduled for that appointment date. Client scheduled for designs, it is recommended to email kmpnails@gmail.com to get an estimated price.

We value your time as our guest, and set aside time exclusively for you! In the event that you need to cancel or modify a reservation, we kindly ask that you do so at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. Rescheduling/modification fees apply to all reservations changed within the 48-hour window.  Cancellations are accepted by phone only. 

​

A $30 cancellation fee applies to all guests with services not cancelled within 48 hours. Same-day cancellations: will be charged 50% of scheduled service(s) (1st time) 100% thereafter. No-shows: will be charged 100% of scheduled service(s). We do not rebook no-shows. Services cannot be modified within 48 hour period.

In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel and or reschedule reservations for the safety of both our guests and team members.

​

No refunds. We guarantee a same-day no chip policy for all services. If you are not happy with your nails, please make us aware of it before check out. We will adjust them to your satisfaction or remove any enhancements or coatings that have been applied. We provide complimentary fixes 1 day after appointment. To our valued clients, please note that if you miss your complimentary repair appointment, all future repairs must be scheduled on Tuesdays only. Clients will be responsible for all repairs on nails damaged more than 3 days after their appointment.

Follow aftercare instructions from nail technician.

Retail products are used for personal hygiene and/or are curated by small businesses. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. No refunds are given for gift card orders.

We reserve the right to refuse service to:

  • Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious.

  • Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area.

  • Anyone in ill health that we fear could be harmed by our service.

  • Anyone more than 15 minutes late for an appointment.

  • Anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to our team members or guests.

  • Anyone with work done outside of KMP Nails.

For your safety, and ours, our premises are monitored with digital video surveillance 24/7.
